The alkaline amylase is a liquid product brown in color. It's produced by submerged fermentation of an Aspergillus strain and is capable of breaking down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage, depolymerizing starch into dextrin of different chain length. The product is widely used in detergent industry.

REACTION PARAMETERS

The product has a wide working pH and temperature range from pH 6.0-10.0 and 25oC-60oC. Loss of activity occurs beyond these ranges.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

The recommended dosage is 0.3-1.5%. The product should be mixed with small amount of detergent first before further processing. The optimal dosage has to be adapted to the exact cleaning purpose.
