Introduction:
Strontium hydroxide octahydrate with CAS No.1311-10-0 is a typical inorganic alkaline earth metal inorganic salt formulated as Sr(OH)?·8H?O, presented as white crystalline solid with obvious deliquescence under ambient conditions. This inorganic chemical easily absorbs carbon dioxide from air to form strontium carbonate and loses most crystal water when heated near 100℃, featuring good solubility in hot water and partial solubility in cold water while owning strong alkaline property and mild corrosiveness.
