Introduction:
Acrylic  is the simplest unsaturated carboxylic acid, with a molecular structure consisting of a vinyl group and a carboxylic group. Pure acrylic is a colorless clear liquid with a characteristic pungent odor. Density 1.0511. Melting point 14oC. Boiling point 140.9oC. Strong acid. It's corrosive. Soluble in water, ethanol and ether. Chemical properties live Chemicalbook splash. Easily polymerized to form a transparent white powder. Propionic  is produced during reduction. 2-chloropropionic is formed when it is added to hydrochloric, which is used in the preparation of acrylic resins, etc., and is also used in other organic synthesis. It is obtained by oxidation of acrolein or hydrolysis , by synthesis of acetylene, and water, or by pressure oxidation of ethylene.
Application:
1. Paste on warp yarn
The warp yarn slurry prepared from raw materials such as acrylic, ammonium polyacrylate, etc. has a larger capacity for desizing and saves starch compared to polyvinyl alcohol slurry.
2. Adhesive
Acrylic, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and other copolymer latex can be used as an adhesive for electrostatic flocking and hair planting, with good firmness and hand feel.
3. Water thickener
Produce high molecular weight powder using a copolymer of acrylic. Can be used as a thickener in oil fields, with a yield increase of 500 tons of per ton of product, and has a good oil recovery effect on old wells;
4. Copperplate paper coating agent
Using quaternary copolymer latex of acrylic ,  2-ethylhexyl acrylate, styrene, etc. as copperplate paper coating, color retention is not yellowing, printing performance is good, non stick to rollers, better than styrene butadiene latex, and can save dry matter;
