Introduction:
Polyether polyol (hereinafter referred to as polyether) is by the initial agent (groups of compounds containing active hydrogen) and ethy lene-oxide (EO) and propyl ene oxide (PO), epoxy but ane (BO) in the presence of catalyst made by addition polymerization reaction. Polyether production so much for the glycerin (glycerin) as starting agent and epoxide (usually with EO and PO), by changing the PO and EO loading way (plus or separately and mixed), add more than, charging sequence and other conditions, produce all kinds of general polyether polyols.
Application:
1. Used as analytical reagent, gas chromatography fixed liquid. Measuring boron complexing agent. It is used in the preparation of solvents, lubricants, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry.

2. Used as a toughening agent for polyvinyl alcohol and starch adhesives, and also used in the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, polyester, glycol epoxy resin, etc. As an important organic chemical raw material, it is widely used in food, medicine, daily chemical and other industries, with more than 1700 uses.

3. Glycerol is used in stainless steel polishing solution, trivalent chromium plating solution and electroless copper plating. The cyanide can make the coating smooth and fine, improve the cathode polarization, and make the coating bright. The combination of glycerol and triethanolamine in a certain proportion can be used for bright nickel plating at room temperature.
