Shield tail grease is a uniform paste made with grease as the main agent and adding fiber, tackifier, filler and other additives. It mainly plays the functions of sealing, waterproofing, lubrication and anti-corrosion. Shield tail grease is divided into two types: hand-applied grease and pumped grease. Hand-applied grease is used during the launch, and pumped grease is used during the propulsion process.

Application:
1. Good adhesion;
2. Good water resistance;
3. Good water tightness;
4. It has good pumpability in a wide temperature range.
Sealing: Prevent mortar and groundwater outside the shield machine from entering the shield machine;
Lubrication: When the segment comes out of the shield tail, apply a layer of grease on the outside of the segment to help reduce the friction between the segment and the shield                                                                                            tail.
