Magnesium chloride is a chloride with the chemical formula MgCl2. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a white shiny hexagonal crystal with a melting point of 714°C and a boiling point of 1412°C. It has a very strong deliquescent property, which is higher than that of 6-water magnesium chloride and 2-water magnesium chloride. The physical and chemical properties are basically the same as hexahydrate magnesium chloride. Function:
1.Raw material:
It is used to manufacture refractory materials and adhesives for building furnace arms, and is a raw material for manufacturing No. 2 flux and smelting metal magnesium.
2. Chemical industry:
It is mainly used to make various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, and firecracker solid primer. It is also used as a raw material for antifreeze.
3. Building materials:
Made with magnesite (MgO) hard and corrosion-resistant magnesia cement, which can be made into artificial marble, terracotta tiles, floors, ceilings, decorative panels, fireproof panels,greenhouse supports, partitions, magnesite manhole covers, bathtubs , Door and window frames and mobile homes.
4. Machinery industry:

5. Food industry:
The tofu made with brine (magnesium chloride aqueous solution) is more tender and delicious than the tofu made with stone. It is also used as an additive in some foods.
6. Transportation industry:
Used as a road ice and snow melting agent, it has a fast deicing speed and is less corrosive to vehicles, which is higher than the effect of sodium chloride. 
7. Agriculture:
It can be used as magnesium fertilizer, potassium magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliant.
